Oil immersed transformer is the main distribution equipment, about the use of oil immersed transformer, the most important issue is safety, so for the relevant staff, master the oil immersed transformer safe operation rules, is the necessary conditions for the work.
1. Safety construction measures must be prepared according to installation instructions before installation of large oil-immersed transformer.
2. No staff is allowed to enter the nitrogen-filled transformer without full nitrogen discharge (its gas oxygen density >18%). No one is allowed to stay in the vent hole when filling oil in the nitrogen-filled transformer.
3. The shell and each side winding of the large oil-immersed transformer must be reliably grounded in the process of oil discharging and oil filtering.
4. When checking the transformer core, the core should not be placed on the oil tank, but on the clean cushion prepared in advance. No work should be done on the core before the lifting rope is relaxed.
5. During the inspection of transformer hanging cover, remove the outer cover and place it on a clean pad before starting the core inspection. All around the hanging cover shall be supervised by special personnel. It is strictly forbidden for the outer cover to touch any part of the core.
6. Transformer core or cover must rise and fall smoothly.
7. During the internal inspection of the transformer, the ventilation and lighting must be good, and a specially-assigned person shall be appointed for monitoring; Workers should wear clothes without buttons and pockets, oil-resistant and anti-skid boots, and tools brought in must be tied, registered and counted. Tools and sundry articles should be strictly prevented from being left in the body.
8. Flange bolts of outer cover must be tightened symmetrically and evenly.
Scaffolding should be set up when checking large transformer cores. It is forbidden to climb up and down the lead wood frame.
10. The site of oil storage and oil treatment must be equipped with enough and reliable fire fighting equipment, and a clear fire fighting responsibility system must be formulated. The site should be smooth and clean, and there should be no fire or inflammable and explosive articles within 10m.
11. When the transformer accessories are defective and need to be welded, the residual oil should be discharged to remove the surface grease and transported to a safe place.
